Green Mary is a collection of sonnets written by Eliza Swann. While recovering from illness, Swann began writing a sonnet a day and a glowing green vision of Mary Magdalene appeared at the foot of her bed and began to guide the work. These sonnets reflect on living through New York landlords, surgery, and war while celebrating queer sex, love, community, and the weird magic of being alive.
